Secret Recipe Tea-Time

Mention Secret Recipe and my favourite Marble Cheesecake comes to mind... a worthy award-winning slice i've fallen in love with.

Jessica and i took up their tea time special ($5.90+), which entitles us to a choice of any sliced cakes and a drink. To our surprise, we were the only customers there throughout our whole chit-chat session.

Marble Cheesecake

Just my good ol' marble cheese, satisfying with its wholesome components. This award-winning cheesecake has once got me so addicted that i returned 3 times within a week just for it. Wet and dense, it smooths out pliably in the mouth to give a thick cheesy sensation without overpowering. Not too sweet and the marble crust had a nice hint of chocolate. The base was another wonderful creation- made of oats and walnuts, naturally crunchy and made a nice balance with the heavy cheese. Goodness-filled, yet not too sinful.

Chilled Strawberry Cheesecake

Frozen strawberry-flavoured cream cheese, plain cheese, soft chocolate cookie base. Pretty shade of pink (:

Ice Lemon Tea for her, Jasmine Tea for me.

Their attitudes were something i couldn't quite tolerate. The waitress actually showed a face upon my request to refill the hot water for my tea. Seriously, I expected much more important treatment than that, especially since we were the only customers around.
