Black Angus Set Lunch

Dad was on leave so we finally had a chance to come for their set lunch. For a price of $21.90, their sets with a soup, salad, main dish, dessert, cold beverage AND a hot beverage is absolutely worthwhile!

Raspberry Smoothie

I'm surprised they even offer raspberry smoothies as one of the cold beverage options. A sour and refreshing icy blend of fresh raspberry puree, not the artificial syrup.

For starters we both chose the soup of the day, which was warm and palatable enough for me to finish. The garden salad on the other hand didn't do for me with veggies not particularly fresh and dressing disliked.

French Onion Soup

Garden Salad with Vinnaigrette

Fresh Baked Salmon

A healthy rendition marvellously done. Baked just right to nice tone of raw pink and optimal moisture retained, nowhere near overcooked. The seasonings were simple yet delectable- i reckon its purely black pepper and salt. Best of all we had a choice of our preferred side and the seasonal vegetables were a good match especially since its my favourite carrots and broccolis.

Chocolate Fudge Cake, served with Earl Grey Tea

A sweet ending of chocolate cake which i found rather dry and overkilling with sugar- the frosting layer was ultra sweet! Had to down it with tea in order to reduce on the sweetness. Edible, but certainly not on my to-order-list.

Service staffs were polite. The manager even asked how we felt about our meal, which was definitely a plus point. One of the most worthy place for a fulfilling quality set lunch.
