Swissbake

Fresh is the first word that comes to my mind here. Not only the bright cherry interiors gave a clean feel, the confident work team of a male caucasian chef and amicable female servers further boosted more assurance.

Salmon Sandwich ($4.80)

While most promising-looking places tend to crash anticipation, i am glad they didn't hit the extremes. My request for a pure salmon (minus those tuna and egg included) on their homemade kraftkorn bread saw evidences of being grilled into a thin flattened sandwich. Just two slices of semi-cooked salmon on the dry shrivelled side with lettuce & tomatoes that undesriably sogs the bread wet.

Far-fetched from the one at Toast, but hearty homemade feeling and a relatively cheap price would make up for its the shortcomings. Maybe because i was hungry as well.
