Craving for japanese cuisine, Samantha and i decided to have settle our dinner here. A well-rounded restaurant offering a variety at generally affordable prices. Most attractive factor? The tempting range of japanese desserts!
Unagi Tofu ($4.80)
A lovely marriage of tofu plus unagi bathed in a sweetish sticky sauce. Good thing they are not too stingy with the unagi cuts.
Sansai Soba ($7.80)
As normal as a bowl of Sansai Soba can get, it grasped the gist of vegetables and mushrooms. Hard to go wrong with such a basic dish so no disappointment here since i wasn't expecting much anyways.
Spicy Miso Ramen ($8.80)
Macha Imo ($6.50)
Their signature dessert certainly lived up to its name. Premium hokkaido milk softserve drizzled with greentea syrup then coupled with red bean paste and deep-fried sweet potatoes. Crisp on the outside and warm inside, these air-flown chunks proved delightful match with their rich creamy extremes. Red bead paste was chunky and low in sweetness. Strongly recommended.
Macha Sundae ($8.50)
She didn't quite like the matcha icecream being on the bitter side but i found it otherwise. Ended up clearing the kanten jelly cubes for her too.
There was a 30% student discount for the desserts, what a deal!
