Sushi Tei

Currently this is one of the favourite Japanese restaurants Dad & i will occasionally visit. In terms of creativity, presentation and ambience, they have undisputedly outshone others with showful and innovative quality food.

Ikura Chawanmushi ($7)

This blissful marriage between little salmon eggs and hot steamed custard is a great hit with dad. Fun, but expensive, with a mysteriously reducing portion of toppings each time we come.

Kani Avocado Salad ($8)

To go with wafu dressing. I enjoy the combination of fresh greens with nicely ripened avocado slices, delightful ebikko and chilled tender kani sticks that breaks into tender shreds.

Coral Roll ($10)

And here is my new take on their specialty sushi. Salmon roe, cucumber and very fresh cuts of sashimi top over mini maki rolls encased with crabstick, tamago and more cucumbers! Good one for salmon lovers like me.

Salmon Cha Soba ($9)

Pan-fried salmon and a mayonnaise dab adds more live to the soba bunches cooked to extreme softness.

Teriyaki Steak with Garlic ($12)

Another one of Dad's favourite with plenty of garlic slices.

Simply put, there's always something new to try here (:
