Was with Sarah and Shilin at Tampines Mall deciding on a place for lunch and Cartel's set seemed like the most decent choice fitting to our budgets.The waitress promptly served us three glasses of iced water and a basket of bread slices. Yes, those homemade bread i adore. Still found delight in them but restricted to just one slice since i was with two non bread-lovers.

Grilled Fish Spaghetti in Cream Sauce
Three of us chose this over the beef alternative. Nothing to rave, nothing to complain about. It was just a very edible plate of smooth linguini with panfried fish in a watery cream sauce.
Then all of the sudden the cafe blacked out with both the lights and air-conditioning cut off. Called for our desserts immediately after operations resumed 15 minutes later.
Vanilla Icecream
Given a choice between chocolate, strawberry or vanilla and served in a waffle basket. Standard stuffs.
A filled tummy ensured at just $9.50 nett.
