Saba Set ($7.50)
A long saba fillet nicely grilled with a crisp skin (the tail area contained more bones than usual) This value-for-money set found in an unpretentious counter stall at Takashimaya's Food Hall is one of my favourite lunch haunts with Sarah. Inclusive of pearl rice, tasty miso soup as well as free flow of green tea.
No service charge, with constant flow of regulars to induce a high-turnover. Perfect spot for fuss-free casual japanese food.
