Bar & Billard Room

Stepping into Bar & Billiard Room is akin to stepping right into a bar of the old colonial period; Classic Victorian architecture coupled with magnificent window arches, high ceilings and elaborate chandeliers. Sublime in old world charm at its finesse.

Lost for words- this is just the most glam and awe-strucking buffet i've had. First the breathtaking outlook of the place, the calm and slow-paced atmosphere, then the enticing food on the shelves. Barbeque items are done fresh in the outdoors, with chefs stationed to slice cuts of christmas specials upon request.

smoked salmon, salmon sashimi, prawns, half-lobster

sashimi, unagi, cold turkey, scallop, prawns & octopus salads

more salmon, unagi & lobster

The cold cuts and assortment of seafood salads were so palatable that i could not resist a second helping, especially those fresh shiok lobsters. On the other hand i found nothing too spectacular about their cooked items.

cod fillet, turkey thigh, scallops, calamari, turkey breast, honey baked ham, BBQ sausage, prawn & fish skewer, sauteed vegetables

raspberry tarts, opera, dark chocolate mousse, red velvet cake, mini macarons

Feast on festives delights- desserts made extra tantalising with snippets of christmas on them. Those berryful tartlets were a joy to eat... thin pie casing sourlicious raspberry filling. The bread & butter pudding was particularly memorable as well.

bread & butter pudding, green tea cake, custard nutmeg mousse

homemade banana icecream & cherry sorbet

It was a hefty $85+++ (per pax) christmas indulge but sure enjoyed!
