Out of the Pan

Crepes make a perfect light meal, sweet waffles draw lovely endings.

This is one place where you can savour the best of both worlds. Located just around the central fountain of Raffles Marketplace is a modern creperie dishing creations of Asian and European infusion. A dinner with just Dad & Sis.

For a limited time period until December, they introduced a series of Seafood delight selections. I was so keen on having the baked lobster crepe but was saddened to hear it was not available. Ended up with my usual.

Baked Prawn Otah ($16.50)

Choose from plain, whole-wheat or sundried tomato crepe.

I love this local-styled creation best. Generous pieces of fresh succulent prawns smothered in a mild mushy otah paste. The slight spice added much excitement to the lovely whole-wheat crepe, always done soft and rubbery.

Pan-fried Norwegian Salmon ($15.50)

Yum Yum Mushrooms ($13.50)

Daddy then suggested we shared a dessert and left the choice to me. Without a doubt, i knew it would be their marvellous waffles!

Fresh Berries Waffle ($11.50)

I seriously have much to rave about their waffles here. Not just a pretty face, they taste so good as well!

This heavenly slab comes impressively substantial, offering firm chewy pleasures plus a fragrant hint of cinnamon spice. Perfect with the custard cream in-betweens, as well as a scoop of their thick homemade vanilla icecream. Yummy.

The ambience may be a little odd with countless pairs of eyes giving you unnecessary attention; but the food is worth that sacrifice.
