Swensen's Set Lunch

It was pouring badly during physics consultation and Mr Fong decided to treat for Huiching & i to lunch. The Executive Set included a free soup, drink and dessert for each main course order.

Vegetable Broth

Expect to find carrots, onions and barley seeds.

Pesto Saute Salmon ($15.50)

Two mere thin slabs of my favourite fish panfried to golden brown surfaces, then matched with a tasteless pesto cream sauce and forgettable mash.

Grilled Fish Sambal ($14.90)

Huiching dumped about a quarter of her fish to me. A pasably thick fillet fried under standard flour batter, accompanied with golden brown wedges. At least the seasoning fared slightly better than mine.

BBQ Quarter Chicken ($14.50)

After much contemplation, fickle Mr fong finally picked this out of his chicken candidates. It looks pretty appetising in colour.

Orange Sorbet Dessert

The dessert of the day was a single scoop of orange sherbet atop a pineapple ring, unlike any of those photo illustrations. The flavour didnt quite take to my liking but i courteously ate it up anyways.
